Das Video Chongqing ist eine Animation aus über 200 Fotografien. Die Bilder zeigen Ausschnitte von Wolkenkratzern, aufgenommen in der Millionenstadt Chongqing im Südwesten Chinas. Am Anfang des Videos bewegen sich die Hochhäuser zum Rhythmus der klaren, hellen Musik des Yangqin. Mit der Zeit wird dieser Rhythmus immer wieder gestört. Die Bilder werden langsamer, bleiben stehen, zucken nervös, werden schneller oder verschwinden ganz. Ein Tanz aus Stahl und Beton, mal zart tänzerisch, mal aggressiv bis bedrohlich apokalyptisch.

The video Chongqing is an animation of over 200 photographs. Cutouts from the sky, framed by modern skyscrapers, shot in Chongqing, a megacity in the southwest of China.
The images move to the sound of the Yangqin, an old traditional Chinese instrument. The rough buildings start to dance, showing different perspectives from the sky. Sometimes narrower, sometimes brighter, sometimes smooth and soft, sometimes aggressiv or threatening apocalyptic.
