Episode 4 of 'The Design Conversations' commissioned by Australian Design Review, sponsored by Bates Smart. In this film, the interface where infrastructure and architecture collide is explored with some help from the environmentalist author and broadcaster Marion Shoard. Extracts from her text 'Edgelands' are used to help enhance the footage shot primarily in the outer urban areas of Melbourne, Australia.
